Events and Programs at the Carriage Barn Arts Center
The mission of the New Canaan Society for the Arts, Inc. is to promote the visual and performing arts, and to enrich the community through exhibitions, education, and cultural experiences, and to operate the Carriage Barn Arts Center. Broadway Concert at The Carriage Barn
Come join Connecticut Stage Company on Saturday, March 7th at 7pm at the Carriage Barn Arts Center for the very first concert in their new Broadway Concert Series. The concert will feature an intimate performance by major Broadway star Kara Lindsay (Wicked, Beautiful, Newsies, Once Upon a Mattress) with music direction by Darien native Dan Micciche, the music director of Wicked on Broadway. Stay after the performance to a talkback with Kara & Dan about life on Broadway. Tickets can be purchased now at www.connecticutstagecompany.org. Seating is limited. Recommended for ages 7+.

NCYFH Spring Clinics
New Canaan Youth Field Hockey is kicking off the spring season with Sunday evening clinics for grades 2-4. It's not too late to join in the fun and improve your skills for the fall season. Spring Clinics are held Sunday's from 5-6pm (4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 6/7, 6/14). Clinics are led by Coach Megan (NCHS Varsity) and cost $200 per player. VOICES 2026 Building Bridges Luncheon Honoring Stewards of Memory
Friday, April 17th at the Country Club of New Canaan from 12pm-2pm.In recognition of the upcoming 25th Anniversary of 9/11, and the founding of Voices Center for Resilience, this year's event focuses on commemoration. Veteran journalist and news anchor Brian Williams will serve as Master of Ceremonies. 2026 Honorees are Alice Greenwald, former CEO and President of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and James Young, world-renowned historian and leading authority on memorialization and the preservation of memory. Special guests include Dede Bartlett who will speak about VOICES work and impact in the community and Craig Schubert who reflect on his personal experience escaping the WTC on 9/11. Broadway star Ciarán Sheehan will perform.
New Canaan Land Trust Winter Hiking Challenge
Bundle up, grab a friend and hit the trails! The New Canaan Land Trust Winter Hiking Challenge is live now through March 21st. Hike Land Trust's public preserves, snap a selfie at each property’s designated sign and email them to: winterhikingchallenge@newcanaanlandtrust.org. PRE-TEAM ELEMENTARY SQUASH
COME PLAY SQUASH!
New Canaan Squash offers a ten-clinic “season” of play during weekends in the winter for students at West, East and South Elementary schools. Held at the Country Club of New Canaan from January - March. Through co-ed clinics and structured match-play, students are taught the fundamentals of squash in a fun and approachable way. New Canaan Aquianas Artistic Swimming
Introduce your child to the captivating world of artistic swimming! New Canaan Aquianas is pleased to offer introductory classes to girls and boys ages 7-12. These beginner classes are designed to enhance flexibility, build endurance, and increase confidence in the water—all while having fun. Swimmers learn basic synchro skills and perform a professionally choreographed routine at the end of the session! In addition, the team will offer "try-it" days for anyone wishing to experience what it's like before signing up. Register here.
