
The Eagle’s Nest is the East School Parent Teacher Council’s (PTC) primary fundraiser and only direct appeach to East families. Did you know that our PTC spent an average of $232 per student last year? With costs rising, we are expecting that number to be somewhat higher this year.
Where do the funds go?
The PTC organizes a wide range of programs in the areas of education programs & staff support, community building and capital improvements & enhancements. Field trips, author visits, performing arts assemblies, teacher grants, classroom supplies, field day, outdoor play structures, the beloved Fall Fair, staff appreciation programs and more are funded through the Eagle’s Nest. Special project for this year!
In addition to raising funds for our regular programming, we are hoping for the Eagle’s Nest to also fund a new swing set structure for the main playground. See the special project overview for more details.
